Information for journalists
I am David, nature filmmaker and ecologist. In my films I show only wild animals and I want to inspire for nature. These are my topics:
- nature and species conservation
- the Common hamster, its endangerment and protection
- the European wildcat, its biology and wildcat monitoring
- free-living wildlife, especially mammals, and scientific methods to study them
- forest without forestry use and policies for natural forest development (e.g. 5% forests, 2% wilderness)

Festivals and Awards
As a filmmaker David Cebulla recieved multiple awards from festivals for his nature films and web videos. His films have been screened on various national and international film festivals. Furthermore, he has been honoured for his artistic work in general.
General
- Walter-Dexel-Scholarship 2019 of the City of Jena and the municipal energy suppliers Stadtwerke Jena-Pößneck was granted to David Cebulla
- Medal „People 2017“ for special cultural services in the Free State of Thuringia was among other great artists awarded to David Cebulla
